Adaptive & accessible is a hill worth dying on.
Rural at Heart. Both/and; yet.
During my time at FIMS, I have had the pleasure of teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses.
My favourite experience has been developing a course for online delivery. As much as I enjoy being in the bricks and mortar classroom, I see myself extending my work in online and hybrid course development and delivery in the future. I have a lot of respect for students who choose this method of continuing education because they often juggle many real–life issues concomitantly – families, careers, and remote living just to name a few. Access to engaging, quality online education means that fewer students have to make the heart–breaking choice between personal commitments to the places and people they care for and about, and pursuing post–secondary education. My skills and interests are well–suited to this type of service.
